No - if you compare the presentation to certain scenes in the trailer, and also the shot of Carol looking over at Michael after he's been shot, it's clear that the DVD has been cropped.

That's sad to hear. I hate cropped DVDs!
shareMe too, I hate knowing there's footage of the film I'm watching that I'm not going to be able to see. Even if it's inconsequential video, I still like to know I'm watching the whole thing, as was meant to be presented.
