Music

The jazz record that Noiret puts on his turntable, and Michel Piccoli plays on the piano at various times (the same one that plays over the end credits): does anyone know whether this is part of the original score or source music?

reply

I'm sorry, no idea. I've been looking for the music all over various databases (cddb.com for example), but I haven't brrn able to find ANYTHING. Anybody does?

reply

Haven`t had any success in finding the music either. But I love it.

reply

Hey, I don't no where to get the song but I know that Philippe Stardt wrote the song.

it's a rather rare 45 RPM single, but the song is on it.

reply

Michel composed it himself for the film.

I actually have the vinyl. Was a very lucky find. It only has 2 songs: the original song and piano version by Philippe Sadre.

I also found out that the initial (and final) flute is the:

La Flute de Pan
by Mouquet

which fits with the question about the flute of pan, on the table.
