Worst Big 'G' film of all??

I have the 'distinction' of seeing this POS first-run at the drive-in , took my kids when they were little. I was horrified at how awful it was, especially the Ultraman rip-off, Jet Jaguar, and Gigan, who ranks with Megalon as the most ridiculous adversaries of Godzilla in history.

Oh please, this was not the worst Godzilla film of all time. What about "All Monsters Attack (a.k.a. Godzilla's Revenge)"? That was almost all stock footage and filled with bad morals teaching kids to purposefully get into fights. Also, Gigan is NOT the most ridiculous adversary of Godzilla. What about Ebirah, the giant shrimp, who got both arms ripped off and blasted like a balloon with Big "G"'s atomic breath? What about Kumonga, the giant spider, who just stood around hwarking loogies on Godzilla? If anything, Gigan 2.0 from "Godzilla: Final Wars" was a bad ass and would've been a worthy adversary if the film wasn't running out of time.

I thought it was good. Destroy All Monsters was far worse, IMO. Along with Godzilla vs. Mothra, it's really the only Godzilla movie that has bored me. The latter was better, though.

I'd cast a vote for Godzilla's Revenge. Minyah talking to the kid sounded like Barney the dinosaur. I hope he didn't sound like that in the Japanese version. Plus a plot with kids doesn't go well with a Godzilla movie. I really liked Gabera, the electro-monster, though. I wish he was in another Godzilla movie as a better match for Godzilla.

I'll admit, I don't know why people say this is the worse Godzilla flick. Someone had already mentioned "All Monsters Attack" and one step above it is "Godzilla Raids Again".

I was born in 1976, and I do remember this being on tv during the 80's, just can't remember the details. I always thought the team-up Godzilla movies were kind of cool. These monster movies, I always seem to get a little bored with the story and feel like I'm wating for a fireworks show to begin to FINALLY see the monsters fight, but their is something that draws me to them, even though they can be extremely cheesy.

No, the holder of that title goes to Godzilla 2014.
