DVD!

Am I the only one who wants this to be released on DVD? I'm sure there are scores of fans out there...

No, your not the only one. I only know Robbe-Grillet from Marienbad and Hiroshima but if this film is only half as good it'll be well worth buying. However, I'm not holding my breath for its release - I'll just spend my time scanning the skies for flying pigs.

I'm not sure if there is so many fans of this superb movie, because it is so rare that there's not so many people that got the chance to see this masterpiece. But I'm sure that most people who saw it became fan. Because it is impossible for someone who love cinema as an art not to love this film nor any other Robbe-Grillet films.

If someone knows where I can buy a copy of this movie, please tell me. I remember I could have buy it a few years ago from someone on ebay but I was affraid the quality of picture and sound was to bad. Now I regret it, I would buy it no matter how bad the quality is.

I don't know if you're still interested in buying the movie, but if you have a Region 2 or region-free DVD player, you should be able to find it on Amazon -- I found two copies currently for sale at this link: http://www.amazon.com/Glissements-progressifs-Successive-Slidings-Pleasure/dp/B003F3KKDG

You can get an R1 disc from Kino Lorber. They have a "Cinema of Robbe-Grillet" set as well.
