Does This Movie Have A Scene Where A Guy Is Drowned In a Bathroom?

Just wondering, in this movie does Stockard Channing's character lock a man in a bathroom that fills up with water?

reply

Yes, that and much more. Great little movie.

One of the revenge killings is done to a fellow who dumped Stockard Channing earlier, when he is asked to turn off a tap in the bathroom. I won't say anything else - the whole film was very good.

That just happens to be the scene I remember best.

If you like barely watchable B-horror, then "Cthulhu Mansion" (sp?) with William Shatner's daughter has a similar scene with male full-frontal nudity for about a blink. Truly daring.

If you get right down to it, the shower scene in "Girl" could easily have been derived from a 1963 episode of "The Lucy Show" titled "Lucy and Viv Put in a Shower."

The scene in "Cthulhu Mansion" is the same premise, but being a hardcore horror film, it doesn't have the comedic impact that this one does (and the "blink" of frontal nudity isn't anything to get excited about at all). Huh, I think "Cthulu" is based on a HP Lovecraft or Ray Bradbury story, which means it could also have been derived from that "Lucy" episode.... not that I'm accusing everyone of ripping off from gags from Lucy.
