Joan Rivers !!!

Hey All! I cried today hearing of Joan Rivers passing away. One of the 1st thoughts that I had was this movie :The Girl Most Likely to... I asked my sister who is 5 yrs older then me but she did not remember it . I turned 50 this year ,my dad who passed away Feb 2013 but was stuck in a chair in the den due to pulminary fibrosis for atleast a year before that would love when I put Joan Rivers reality show on or if she was a guest on a talk show really just made him laugh . Joan was so funny and quick and really just a natural comedian..... Its my opinion that that clinic she went to for a basic simple diagnosis of what was going on with her vocal cords to me is unbelievable and unacceptable that she stopped breathing?? OMG what the hell happened??? The only peace that I have is that now she is with my dad making him laugh . I must find and watch The Girl Most Likely to.... and I heard her documentary was amazing. Thank You Joan for the laughs.....

The documentary "Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work" was wonderful IMO. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It offers a great look at Joan the person.
I was very saddened by her sudden death as well. One of my cherished possessions is an autographed photo of Joan I received after sending a fan letter and photo of myself to her back in the early 80s. Not 100% certain she signed it herself, but I like to believe she did.
I was very delighted to finally be able to get this movie on DVD through Amazon a couple of weeks ago. Now my DVD pursuit is to get "Rabbit Test".
Joan was a wonderful comedienne and a tireless, determined worker. Love her or not, she paved the way for female comediennes and never stopped working hard in her career. Not everyone's "cup of tea", but I will always have the utmost respect for her.
