Most Shocking Part: Elizabeth's Murder.

I think the part where the monster turns on Frankenstein's wife and strangles her to death was the most shocking part of this classic chiller. I really felt Victor's shock and horror when he awoke on the ice-covered, deserted ship in the depths of the Artic . . . to discover the frozen corpse of his wife.

It always comes a great shock in a movie when a female lead character, for whom you develop so much affection, is suddenly and horrifically bumped off by the creature. I felt the same when Veronica Carlson's character got killed off in the movie FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED. There is nothing worse than the mindless slaughter of a pretty girl.

What was the part that shocked YOU the most?

1st about Elizabeth's murder. It was tragic and shocking, but just having watched it, I never realized what a bitch she was. I couldn't stand her in her scenes. I don't blame the actress, it really one of the only leads not read as 3 dimensional. She was stunningly beautiful this actress and was a solid performance for what she was given.
2nd, both of Jane Seymour's death were the most brutal. It's a tie.

Spenser with an "S", like the poet.

People who haven't yet seen FTTS or Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed will no doubt find these shocking spoilers.
