Now I know why Prima hated Frankenstein the creature

When I first watched this made-for-television way back when, I didn't quite understand why Prima immediately hated Frankenstein when she first saw him. But after watching the dvd I understand.

Do you remember the scene where Dr. Clerval shows Dr. Frankenstein the severed arm he had been storing in the chemical tank? The disembodied hand grabbed Dr. Frankenstein's hand and squeezed it hard. Dr. Clerval remarked that the hand/forearm 'remembered' Dr. Frankenstein. That was earlier in the movie when an injured factory worker was brought into a hospital and Dr. Frankenstein spoke aloud that the injured forearm could not be saved and had to be amputated.

When Prima first saw the creature, she instinctively knew even if she did not quite remember that the creature was responsible for her accidental death and the death of her fiancee. That is why she began snarling at the creature Frankenstein.

Watching the movie, I just realized Prima had purple blood after the cat scratched her.
