Did Linda Blair experience backlash for not doing all of the scenes in Exorcist?

Not that I can recall? But I was disappointed when I found out she didn't do the cross scene.

I think that there would have been more backlash if she actually did some of those scenes. I don't think people were bothered that she didn't do those scenes. Most people were probably relieved.

Turns out, Pazuzu didn't even do his own voicework. He just had some minor demon do it and took all the credit. Jerk!
