It's mentioned that post 1963 model cars are seen throughout the movie.

That is not a problem as long as the cars are no newer than 1964 models. Back then new models were released as early as September of previous year. I did notice a 1964 Chevrolet as a police car in the movie. 1965 or newer model cars should not be in this movie.
