Ana is beautiful

The actress who plays Ana is simply beautiful, and could not have been better cast. I've had a vision of what my child might look like in my head, and I almost wept when I saw Ana smile onscreen. Thoughts?

She's just a pretty girl with big eyes to me. I don't think she's a "talented actor" or anything like that. I think they chose a girl for the part who had the right "look."

When I first read her name and later when I saw her face,I got suspicious.I searched it (through IMDB of course) and I confirmed it .She is the beautiful and talented actress who plays in Amenabar's great thriller "Tesis".Highly recommended.

Yes, Cria Cuervos is also a wonderful movie.Different from Spirit of the Beehive, but also great.Ana'a talent is more easy to be recognised in Cria Cuervos,Spirit of the Beehive is more of a minimalistic movie,in directing and acting too.

The camera loves her. Such an expressive face - and those eyes ..I not usually one for cute kids but I found her and this movie absolutely beguiling.

In a scene when she is in bed, and her face is the focus, if you showed me a still of that shot, I wouldn't be able to tell if she was 4 or 44. I'll have to look into more of her work. I liked this movie. I liked the Frankenstein theme, although it didn't all come together for me in the end. But I'm an American, so I guess that explains that.
