Never saw this movie until recently, but why...

Why are their expressions so funny and ridiculous when they kick?
Why do they scream upon every hit?
Why are there sound effects on every hit too?
Did Bruce Lee put this in the film for comedic effect?

That's not really an answer to the question. There's sound effects on every hit and funny facial expressions.

I don't know if you have ever seen the movie "3 ninjas" but that movie got made fun of because the kids yelled "aiya!" upon every kick and punch.

That is similar to the effects in this movie.

Obviously some have never seen a kung fu movie! It would be so boring with the sound effects; the hits, the air being broken, fabric fluttering! ;-)

Well.... if they hit someone and no sound effect happened then it would seem like it didn't connect. The OTT sound effects in these films are essential for a sense of impact.

As for the screams, it's called a ki-Ai, it enhances power when you strike and everyone's is different. If you are talking about the person being hit it's because getting hit is sore.

As for the rest, I'm not sure what your complaints are.
