Not defending this one

Most of Jackie Chan's oldest films were re-released with the lie that he was the star. I've seen several of these now, and most are pretty good, even the little screen time he gets are undeniably signature Jackie Chan ass-kicking. The stories are usually pretty good too, even without Jackie they stand alone well. I think they've been seriously underrated by imdb users.

Not this film. A 4 is too high. There's nothing redeemable about Jackie Chan's minimal and pathetic roll as a ragdoll in this movie. The fight scenes were mediocre. The story is terrible. It plays through to a final battle. Then you come to find out it wasn't the final battle, the movie's only half way through. It meanders for unknown amount of time, it stops making sense, then everyone gets beat up, then they beat up other people. the end.
