weird question

I'm looking for a movie, from the 70s, where the viewer sees a tin can of something (dog food, I have always assumed) with a Buster Brown looking kid and a dog on the front. The can falls into some water and the viewer sees the can drifting toward the bottom. The Buster Brown looking kid is holding the can with himself on it and it goes on like that until infinity. Does anyone have any idea of what I speak?
