Silly question regarding subtitles?

Hi I just watched the movie on Amazon. There is a lot of Italian speaking, lots of scenes, and the subtitles just say (italian). With the heavy amount of conversation in italian I really feel like I missed major points of the plot. I was terribly confused in an already confusing movie. If I missed out because Amazon flubbed the subtitles I would really like my money back. If anyone could let me know :)

I just saw this on TV and there were no subtitles for the Italian parts. I watched this with an Italian speaker and nothing major was missed without the translation.

Thank you for your feedback! I think what I gathered is that the theme of the movie is to be disorienting.

As I repeatedly tell my college freshmen (students,) The only silly/stupid question is that which goes unasked. - per Somebody-or-other
