Come On. It deserves more than 4 stars

This is the second time I have seen this and its just as funny as the first. Who cares if its not a big box-office-hype movie, its a simple, funny, cleaver and a enjoyable movie.
I just love how the flat has so many entries and exists and at the same time as many characters using them.
Any movie with the humour of the Carry-On Films is a must see. This does just that.

Well its worth watching just to see the lovely Katy Manning from Doctor Who fame who played Damina!

It's horrid.

4 stars is a bit too giveish, I reckon. Despite its Katy Manning, Joan Sims, Myra Francis and Leslie Phillips content.

I don't think I've ever seen a review of this film where it had anything other than one star 'awarded' to it. I'm confused as to why people can't just take it on its own unpretentious merits - it's a throughly '70s Whitehall farce and nowt more. S'actually quite funny in places, if you've a vaguely farcical sense of humour (I particularly like the 'stuck zip threesome' bit).

I agree. I think the entrances/exits are beautifully timed and the circular path of the flat well exploited (though a staircase coming down into a bedroom is a bit odd).

Saw this on board a cruise ship in 1975 night after night and enjoyed it more each time. At long last got it off TV about 1999.
