how much sex/nudity does this movie have? - Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (1973) Discussion

There is no sex or nudity. UR is unrated; lots of TV films are released unrated because they never required an age certificate for theatrical release. This would be a solid PG—there is nothing in it that you wouldn't want a child exposed too, but it might be a bit frightening for really young kids.

Well, now you've got me wondering. One of my buddies recommended this movie for, among other things, "the most erotic dragging scene I have ever seen". ???

Haven't seen it yet but have it on order from the local library.

Maybe I need new friends.

Jim had his shirt unbuttoned a couple of times in a couple of "Ellery Queen" episodes. Usually he was very modest, and was quite covered up. Even in "Where the Boys Are", he always had on a shirt, even though a lot of the scenes took place on the beach. He was just modest and sexy, I think.

I discovered him quite by accident about a year and a half ago at age 35, only because I saw the Ellery Queen DVDs in my local video store and I had read some of the books. Therefore, I was curious about the series. Boy was I in for a special treat - great storylines AND eye candy! That video store closed a few months later, but it stayed open long enough for me to get a hold of those DVDs.

I've heard a number of ladies on IMDb say that they had a crush on Jim back in the sixties and/or seventies. This doesn't surprise me one bit! I doubt that many people my age or younger even know who he was. By the way, the people I have chatted with all agree that he died way too young. I agree. I wish he could still be with us now.
