Did Gino 'deserve' to die?
Obviously, this movie is a strong anti-capital punishment statement...the French were using the exact form as we saw in the film...guillotine-style!
But, as far as the Gino character...do you think he "deserved" to die, in the sense that he killed another human being, OR, would you side with the attorney in the film & Jean Gabin's character: it's all a matter of circumstance?
Just curious.
Oh, and I've watched 4 Alain Delon movies in the past 4 days, and he DIES in every one. Let's see if the trend continues.
