I'm doing a research topic on cannibal films and am focusing on Cannibal Holocaust, ferox and man from deep river my question is How far can the Italian Cannibal films be seen as a critique of Western Imperialist and Colonialist attitudes?

Well I suppose most of the Western people are killed after interfearing with the tribes in some way and in the films they act as though they own the area and have the right to judge them and attempt to punish them for their 'backwards' way of life but I'm not sure really. Sorry!
shareI'm sorry for being late, but I just figured it out. the western imperialist and colonialist brought the canniabals shoes and big macs. when the cannibals got fat and developed bunions and corns, they threatened a holocaust. the west gave them casinos filled with slim fast and stacker 2. Now everybody lived happily ever after. the end.
