Question and comment

Shouldn't the man that Denise shacked up with have caught on sooner? She's much younger than him and beautiful and keeps asking him about his job. I would think he would suspect something.

Also, i know hindsight is 20/20 but it seems to me that the smart thing to do would have been for the Jackal to sneak into the apt he was going to shoot from a week or so in advance and hide a pistol there (maybe in an air duct) to have on hand just in case he needed it.
