Alright Movie!

I mean, I wouldn't wet my pants over this film, but I was mildly surprised! The film was atmospheric, the acting was… At least decent…
The film I saw was also in B&W… But I think that might have made this film better… Seems most early 70’s films have lots of deep reds & lime greens… These colors tend to seriously date a movie. B&W kinda made this one timeless. It could have been made in the 70’s… Or the 40’s. But our leading man had the full on 70’s porn star stache… LOL!! THAT dates the film a bit.

Trust me,

Wait ... are you saying the porn stach is out of style?

Along those lines, doesn't Andrew Prine look an awful lot like John Holmes here?

So was this filmed in black and white, or did it someone lose its color over the years through its numerous duplications?

As for the film, the atmosphere was decent, though it's hard to judge from such a bad print. Some of the performances border on unintentionally hilarious. Like the largest voting bloc here, I gave 4/10 stars for this Turkey turkey.

I think they were trying for a COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE type atmosphere especially the ending.

I'm watching it now. It's in color, but still awful. Somehow it's entertaining.

-In my mind, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman.-

Any movie where the vampire can only come out at night and IS afraid of crucifixes is way better than any of the nonsense vampire movies of today's era.

Yeah, the spooky'n'dreamy ooga-booga atmosphere was definitely one of this film's key assets. Moreover, Andrew Prine made for an engaging hero, Teresa Gimpera was both beauteous and bewitching as the vampires Hannah, and it was nice to see the lovely Patty Shepard speaking English in her own voice for once.
