Couple questions???

11) At the beginning of the movie:
What type of ship was he disembarking from---Looked awful small
Why, if they'd just finished a Caribbean cruise would they be in Seattle?
Wouldn't it make more sense for a ship to be home ported in Corpus, NO, even TTampa if they were cruising the Caribbean?

22) At the end He was supposedly assigned to the LaSalle which looked like a ffleet supply ship or an oiler going on a Med cruise. Same as above, WHY would a ship bound for a Med cruise be in Seattle

In a world where a carpenter can be resurrected, anything is possible.

I didn't catch the pennant number, but it looked like a destroyer or frigate (destroyer escort). They are pretty small. He's a boatswain first class, so his ship assignment would be very flexible.

The USS LaSalle started life as a landing platform dock and became a command ship in 1972. I don't remember the ending, so I don't remember if they actually showed the LaSalle or another ship.

I don't know about the navy's home porting system. Ship's going to the Mediterranean Sea should be assigned to the Sixth Fleet and I would expect it to be home ported on the east coast or in Europe.

The ship he disembarked from was Canadian Navy Ocean going tug,

The ship at the end was a Merchant Ship, a freighter to be exact.

The U.S.N. refused to assist in making this film, so no U.S. Navy ships are shown
