So when can we see this one on DVD? I was there for part of the filming

I was present at part of the location filming of this movie, the chase scenes filmed in Pasadena, CA.

I loved it as a kid, and I sure would love to see it again, this time on DVD. Part of it was filmed in and around my Granparents' neighborhood, and even on their street! It was so cool to see the neighborhood in this movie. Old houses that fit right into the 1930's theme.

Disney has been pretty good at releasing the 'back catalog' stuff from the 70's on DVD, and I have been waiting for a really long time to see this again!

VHS is a dying media, so tape is not an option for me--I don't even own a VCR anymore!

Disney, Oh Disney, where is this film on DVD? Will it ever see the light of day?

How were you able to get this on DVD? I want this too! I love this movie and I'm still waiting to get it on DVD. I have it on video that was taped off the Disney Channel 25 years or so ago. I would love to get this on DVD. Disney has a lot of titles that they haven't put on DVD, they were movies on the Wonderful World of Disney and I'm still wishing to get them.

Its on dvd you can buy it on amazon and ebay. I don't think its at any stores.

You can rent it on Amazon.com instant videos for $1.99. It's not letterboxed but a good solid print of the movie. I'm amazed seeing it as an adult, it has a lot of serious/adult-oriented themes that I couldn't have possibly have understood when I saw it originally. Guess that was the fun of an old-fashioned "family" movie, a little something for everyone.
