I wouldn't waste my time watching this...

...more than 10 times. Well, I've probably already seen it 10 times. So, perhaps I'll only give it about 5 more tries. Seriously, I just never get tired of this film. Hard to find a flaw with it.

I am only on my 5th or 6th viewing, got a few more to go.

Maybe the constant tire squealing on sand ? And that we were expected to buy Walter as a 'stud' LOL !! He looked hysterical in that bi plane and pilot outfit - hardly James Bond like !!

reply

Well, at least he wasn't seen wearing a towel "mono-suit" or whatever it is called like Sean Connery in Goldfinger.

I bought him in the role, and what does James Bond have to do with it?

reply

There was nothing in the screenplay to indicate that he was a, "Stud" or that he was supposed to be, "James Bond like". I think you wandered into the wrong film. Somehow you managed to watch the entire film and miss the point. What a waste.

I have only watched it once, but it was a damn good film.

I saw it in 1974 as the second film in a double feature at the Logan Theater in Chicago. As a 9 year old the opening credits were not promising.I am so glad we stuck around for 10 minutes. To this day I can't remember what the movie was we actually went to see. Gotta love Don Siegel.
