I was able to purchase a copy off of ebay. Simply go to the site (www.ebay.com) go to the video/DVD section, and type in "The Cat Creature" in the search line. The cost, if I recall correctly, was $22, which includes shipping and handling.

Good luck. I can understand you wanting to find it. I saw this movie when it was released to TV as well when I was a youngster, and it stayed with me too.

Hi there. I sent you an email, but I guess it didn't take. Just tell me where to send it, and I'll mail you a copy.

I also would love to get a copy. I remember it from when it was first broadcast, and the final scene of the skull amidst the dust has stayed with me. Now THAT is filmmaking.
How much?

This movie is available at a on-line dvd movie house that sell what they call cult films. I purchased three titles, one of which was The Cat Creature. I paid 15.00$ plus shipping for it. The quality of the recording is JUNK. You cannot make out much of the primary details of the actors and sets. Despite the company providing a disclamer that these are rare out of print movies don't get caught up in purchasing from them.

Yeah, that's pretty much the way mine is. I theorize that those who are providing the copies must have gotten ahold of a deteroriated 16mm print that an independent television station had leftover in storage. I also assume that they also must have used low- to medium grade video equipment to make the copies -- which makes the situation even worse. Being that it was a made-for-television movie -- and knowing how unsentimental the networks are -- I think it's a safe bet that the original prints and negatives were destroyed a long time ago. So, what's left is the sweepings, but it's better than nothing. At least I got a chance to see "The Cat Creature" again, even if alot of the details are pretty muddy.

You can find a decent copy on IOffer.

I have a copy for those who are interested. The quality is only fair to somewhat good but I think it is better than what has been described earlier in this thread.
