End of movie *Spoiler*
The version I had checked out was scratched or something so the movie watching ended for me pretty much as the kid was calling the grocery store. What happened after that? Thanks in advance.

Well there's a lot to it but basicallym, the film starts with the scene of the kidnapping where the kidnappers kidnap the girl because they know her father has access to a lot money.
They try to bury her in a box but this little kid (autistic, no less) sees them doing it and try to rescue her but can't. But he's autistic so he doesn't tell anyone.
In there, there's a lot of garbage about the autistic kid's family bickering and they try to take him to a kooky psychiatrist. Also, the girl's father does a bunch of stuff to stall paying the money.
There's also a bunch of sex scenes thrown in for good measure and all kinds of criminal-type back stabbing.
I hope that does it for you. Now what happens at the end?

The psycho kills Candy's old dear and force the father to give up the diamonds. However, the same psycho gets a rush of blood to the head and shoots Candy's Dad to boost his murder tally. The fat guy then kills him. Thought dead, the dad kills the chick. Following a car chase, a shoot-out ensues between the last remaining gang member and the father atop the hillside where Candy is buried, leaving Dad as dead as disco. Seemingly prepared to dig up Candy, the gang member is shot and killed by the mute kid. Scurrying down the hillside he also kills his horrible Mum. Candy remains buried underground crying; probably to die.
The end.
Not a happy ending by any stretch of the imagination! Great little film, when all's said.
Now I haven't seen this movie but a friend said that Cindy had a tube to breathe and some little kid but jelly beans down the tube and so she suffocated?
shareIt's Candy, actually, not Cindy. But, yeah, that happens in the beginning of the movie, and it's so infuriating! He didn't suffocate her, but he could have! Definitely check this out, as it has to be seen to be believed.
shareat first i interpreted the ending of the movie as the kid shot himself. in retrospect, i guess your summation makes greater since as we no longer heard his mother calling for him after the shot sounded.

Remember - the kid has been trying to figure out some way to let someone know to go to the "grave".
As the kid is coming down the hill, he stops by one of dead men and he looks up at a drain pipe from which sounds can be heard. He then scoots down the hill on his butt so that he leaves a very clearly new path up the hill. When the cops arrive and look around, what do you think they are going to find.
There is no way that a shootout like that with all the dead bodies is going to go unnoticed. If nothing else, the dude who's white car was stolen by Avery is going to be looking to the police, and they are going to be searching for the car. It would be likely that they discover the drainpipe, if sound carries she should be able to hear the cops above ground. Although she could have been weakened from being down there for probably 10-20hr.

True the cops may come with the gunshots and see the bodies, but with walky-talkies blaring and investigators talking, would a muffled drain-pipe voice be heard? My guess is it would take complete quiet to hear the buried Candy!
