Director died mysteriously!

The poor man was only in his early thirties when he fell or leaped from the bell tower constructed for his movie "Bell from Hell" on the final day of shooting. As a result, Juan Antonio Bardem (uncle of Javier Bardem) was obliged to finish the picture, but did not recieve credit for his efforts.

What a sad tale of great talent left unrealized. His family must have been shattered by this.
