excellent european bronson western

"chino" is among bronson's better european westerns directed by john sturges. bronson delivers a truly great performance as a lone rancher in love with a cattle baron's sister (jill ireland). vincent van patten works well with bronson as the young boy working for bronson. taught tight direction by sturges. ireland looking beautiful with good scenes with bronson. european westerns always seem more realistic and better than american westerns. bronson proves once again he was a good solid actor who could be quite effective as an actor when given the right material.
