So happy to read this post! I am very thankful for the new Pope and just discovered your comments. I also made the association with Brother Sun Sister Moon. I wonder if the new Pope ever had the opportunity to see this movie?
shareI'm glad the new Pope honours the great saint Francis, by adopting his name. However I don't think this film really does St Francis any justice and is not indicative of Zeffirelli's better work.
