tonight ( Saturday August 4th ) on the SVENGOOLIE Show at 10PM on the channel MeTV .

Watching it now. Very interesting werewolf makeup.

Elaine Devry is absolutely gorgeous.

I thought so too jamesbwill . For 1973 I personally found the werewolf makeup to be very impressive for what it was back then just make up art in it's purest form ( NO CGI Effects back those days ) . This was my very first time watching this movie last night . IMPO I thought it was a good simple campy fun film that could be watched without being disgusted by all the over the top gore like in some of today's movies . I of course do watch the gory films of today from time to time lol ( and just to give them a chance to see if the storyline will outweigh the effects ) but after awhile it gets to be too much for me . So these old films help take the edge off from all of the other modern style movies of today . I also grew up on most these retro style movies of the 1970's and back so I never tire of them either . I also agree actress Elaine Devry is a beautiful and talented lady . I will have to check out her profile to see what other movies she was in . Thanks jamesbwill for your subject post .

Please explain further fictionalman . What was it about this movie you didn't enjoy ( just curious here ) ?

I actually enjoyed the movie. Kerwin Mathews was looking good for his late 40's and the mother was pretty damn hot for a forty plus woman. And I really enjoyed the monk or brother or whatever he was supposed to be. Not only did he write the flick he was funny, as well. His scenes reminded me of the Beverly Hillbillies episode where Jethro fell in with a bunch of hippies who wanted to "smoke" some of granny's crawdads.

A most interesting trivia fact starrbeat . Which made me now look up the actor Bob Homel that played the character Brother Christopher . I would have not known that he wrote the screenplay for this movie unless you mentioned it here first . Sadly he passed away at the age of 48 as well . That Beverly Hillbillies episode seems like a riot . I will have to keep my eye on the TV Schedule for that one soon lol . Thanks starrbeat for your reply .

For one I'm not 10 years old. The make up and special effects were poor. The acting was atrocious. I can go on but I do have a life. I will never get back the two hours of life I wasted watching this movie on METV Svengoolie.In fact Svengoolie's jokes were the only reason I watched.
