FWIW, the primary characters' surname is Bridgeston.

The IMDB "Bridgestone" error has migrated to other online reviews and sources. For the few who may be researching this film, please note the correction.

I'm watching it right now on Svengoolie and when little Richie is in the trailer and introduces himself to Harry and Jenny, it sounds like he says "Bridgestone" to me.

The ending credits clearly show Bridgeston

There is no final e pronounced or not.

So you is right and the IMDb credits wrong.
