Anyone know if they plan on releasing this on Blu Ray in the near future? Would be a great way to expose it to a larger audience and give it the home release that it deserves

A Blu Ray would be a dream come true, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's rather controversial, and it never made much money. Frankly, I'm still shocked it ever emerged on DVD... And what a beautiful disc it is.
