1. How did Jonathan lose his senses?
2. How was Jonathan able to move around freely in the house?
3. Why doesn't the captain share Charles' secret with Susan?
I'm guessing the Captain wants to use the secret for blakcmailing Charles to have sex with him. As for moving in the house, everyone was terrified of him. I wouldn't try and overthink this movie though, there's lots that makes little sense. It was decent in concept and was entertaining, but it could have been alot better IMO.

Got the chance yr's ago to rent this on VHS(signed up for storage instead--it helps more than the book rejection can) always remembered it for some reason. and i have seen BLACK SNAKE MOAN also(liked her in that movie the GATHERING(2003)that had me thinking about the origins of the groupie/stalker/pop'rz from a biblical times concept!!!!!!

I remember hearing/reading this term in the documentary movie/book MR UNTOUCHABLE(2007) when MR U. is describing what happens at the end of a sexual encounter he has!!! he was from the south also so i guess its a southern man TIP THANG!!! some of my male relatives are from natchez,MS i wonder did they use that word until they CAME north!!!!!
