Great Movie - Also check of 'State of Division' AKA Death Race (1973)

Another TV movie aired the same year was "State of Division" starring Doug McClure and Lloyd Bridges. It was produced by Harve Bennet of Star Trek movie fame. WWII pilots with a cripple P40 are chased by a German Tank (actually an American Sherman M4A3)across the desert with a similar duel style ending as in Birds of Prey.

I recommend both of these films for a 'must have' collector.

It's a rather lame TV movie. The bad guys in the helicopter land after Walker pursues them for a while and ask what he wants, to get off their back. The obvious answer is, "Let the hostage go, you can keep the money." Instead, he says he wants "you", i.e. the robbers, so they take off again. Then when the hostage gets an opportunity to make a run for it, she inexplicably takes the heavy bag of money with her. She's slowed down by it, but the guy chasing her can't catch up to her. The whole movie makes no sense.
