CRYBABY!

Since I was very young, this movie was my favourite movie flick as a youngster. I saw it when it first came out at 6 years old. And throughout the years growing up and catching it on television, I always cried at the very end, the scene at the airport terminal/landing strip deal, when Bruce tells Henry that "he would be back next year", and then the next scene you hear Henry saying that Bruce had died. That scene since I first saw it as a little kid made me cry, bawl like a newborn baby missing his momma. When someone was watching it with me, I would always try to restrain the tears and stifle them, but to no avail. I guess I figured only girls cried and never guys. When I got older, and got to watch this awesome script again, it was almost okay to cry, I could finally not feel embarrased crying and tearing up. It's like a badge of honour or something. I learned that guys could shed/share their emotions without feeling guilty. I know that I'm not the only dude out here that knows what I'm talking about. Maybe that's why I love "chick flicks" so much and my wife loves that I know so many of them, cause I watched alot of them. I guess I'm just saying that its okay to cry at a movie, even if you're a guy, and you should never feel ashamed, plus the females in your life will respect you more if you can allow yourself to cry at a movie

I cried to in this one all the times I've seen it. The music makes me cry. Like in Out of Africa, as my husband says, the ultimate chick flick for me! I start crying at "I had a farm in Africa"
I have seen this movie for years and love it and my sweetie tears up too, as he does in a lot of flicks...You did a beautiful post! just sayin'
