Who would you cast in a remake?

I thought of Tobey Maguire as Bruce Pearson while I was watching this.

I suppose he's getting a little too old for the part now tho.

Gyllenhaal is a little old, now, for the part.

Robert Pattinson (Twilight) as Bruce Pearson. Turns out from post-Twilight films that Pattison is an excellent actor. Who knew?

Gosling has the physical appearance to play Wiggen, the athleticism, and would do an excellent acting job of it.

Zac Efron might be good as Bruce Pearson. He turned in an excellent performance in The Paperboy.
