Very Interesting Gem!

Does anyone else think this movie is done very well. I viewed it for the first time just a few days ago and it has stuck with me. I usually like gore and killing but this done a great job at being creepy without any of that. The part where the doll comes alive and stabs the girl and it is caught on film is wonderfully creepy, after the fact.

I have Blue Undergrounds DVD on order, but as of yet I have only seen the (what I understand to be) edited Kiss Me, Kill Me.
I'm still going to agree with you, though!

It's my favorite movie so far; I love the directing, the shooting, the editing and the music. And I also love Isabelle De Funès. Do you know it's inspired by the italian comic strip called "Valentina", by Guido Crepax?

See you in 2040

I have the Blue Underground DVD. Among other things, it has a deleted nude scene of Carroll Baker.

Its an expression of my individuality, & my belief in personal freedom.

She looks great in that all too brief scene. Wish there was more of it.

Indeed! One of the most underrated Euro horror. The style is excellent and the music was wonderful. As contrary to what a lot of people think, Carroll Baker did a great job as the misterious Baba Yaga in my opinion.

Agreed, awesome and unconventional European horror movie. The last sequence is a standout, though - like Bava going new wave. Very cool.

This defiantly is an interesting film with a lot of style. The one I have is titled “Kiss Me, Kill Me” and I’ve heard it’s somewhat edited down, so I may search out the Baba Yaga version soon.

It’s not too often that you see George Eastman when he’s not playing a raging maniac asshole. He kinda reminds me of an Italian David Hess.
