Excellent film

I just saw this obscure film and was very impressed. It is a great film that treats its horror subject with respect and dignity. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you seek it out.

Saw it for the first time tonight. I liked it very much, though it wasn't exciting enough that I'd like to watch it again alone. I enjoy watching films again in the company of someone else just to get their feedback on what they think of it.

It reminded me of the story segment in TRILOGY OF TERROR (I think that's the title) where a character played by Basil Rathbone hypnotized Vincent Price's character right before his death and managed to keep him reporting on what he was seeing in the hereafter long after his body began to decay! Both films deal with what happens to us at the moment of death.

I believe you're thinking of "Tales of Terror".

I quite liked this film. The premise was fascinating, the period recreation strong, and the acting totally convincing.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Going to concur. Not sure where I originally saw this, but I did track it down later for the lame dvd that originally was released.
Always enjoyed it, regardless of any holes or nits that its generated.
An entertaining, quirky, tale.
