I know they used Oakley Court for some of the exteriors, but does anyone know where they filmed the interior shots of this movie? If it's a set, it's a bloody good one, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it was a real location somewhere. Any ideas?
shareI thought that it was probably the "old house" purchased as part of Littleton Park, which became Shepperton Studios. That's where a lot of interiors were shot for films like The Beast Must Die; and, other Amicus Productions.
However, I just started watching with the first commentary (actress Stephanie Beacham and Director Roy Ward Baker); and, they mentioned that most of the interiors were on a set, at Shepperton.
The DVD I am watching is part of "The Amicus Collection" by Dark Sky Films.
Bloody amazing sets then. Some real artists in production design!
