I've been looking around for movies like American Graffiti. The closest thing I can come to is That 70s Show even though it's set in the 70s.

What do you mean "like American Graffiti"? What points of similarity are you interested in? If you want something of comparable quality, I would recommend "The Last Picture Show"; however, the styles of the films are not very similar and they take place in different periods.
