Random thoughts on this film. (Spoilers!)

Seeing the World Trade Center in NYC, and a Pan Am Flight was like opening a time capsule since neither of these exist now. I also loved the prices in the restaurant: $.90 for breakfast! That was another time and place.

I know this film was restored, but near the beginning it looked like there was a swarm of bees in the sky.

Did people really wear flared high water pants in 1974?

In the exercise scene one of his pants legs is longer than the other.

Several of the scenes were very creepy, especially the bathtub scene.

After the police find him and the girl they just let him go with her on the train to Munich? Huh?

It was fascinating to see the elevated train in Wuppertal. I had never seen a train like that, and I didn't visit that town when I was in Germany in 2011.

The Synopsis says that they were headed to Austria, but they were actually headed to Amsterdam. I wanted to change this on the Synopsis, but I couldn't. There was no revision button.

I appear to be in the minority here, but I think this movie was just okay, kind of slow, and a bit boring. I thought Phillip was going to fall asleep at any moment.
He seemed almost catatonic. I think he was bored too. I would give it a 7/10.

On the other hand since there are so few comments on the board apparently not many people even saw it.

Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar and doesn't.
