or rather was not permitted to sing in West Side Story, just watch this film, if you can. It is just awful in every way, amply described by other viewers. One can see why Marnie Nixon was dubbed in for Natalie Wood, Deborah Kerr and even Audrey Hepburn. This is not a meanspirited post, simply the truth.

It's strange that "I Can't See You Anymore" came back to me instantly when I watched this film today. I must have seen this film on TV in the '70s, because I don't think I've heard Renée Armand and Jim Gordon's song anyplace else. I don't remember much else about this film, but it doesn't offer much to remember anyway.
