official dvd release announced
This film finally gets it's much deserved dvd release. Date March 20, 2007. The list price: $23.00. No word whether it will be wide screen, but we shall see.

Well that "official" release turned out to be garbage. Some idiot thought it would be a good idea to cut out 15 minutes of the film. I think i can understand the dvd label's way of thinking; "Why should we release a fine copy of this beautiful arthouse film when we can simply burn an old VHS tape to a disc, then edit the film in a way that it makes little sense?" I think it saves them time, because a good product would only sell faster, causing the employees at this label to have to go to the trouble of printing and sending out more products.
