Seriously, how was he ever cast as Kenny in series 1? He had no charisma whatsoever, and his particular brand of "acting" was just laughable. It seemed as if he was reading his lines from cue cards, and that he was seeing them for the first time, even though he wasn't.
It's no wonder that he didn't make it to a second season, or that this was his only acting job. He really does have to be seen to be believed!
No, I think Misako Koba as Hsui Tai was slightly worse than poor Kenny.

Yeah, he was awful. His thick accent doesn't help, but on top of it it sounded like he had a mouth full of marbles or something.

shareHe was pretty awful - I've seen posts excusing his mediocrity because of his age but we can all name a dozen younger child actors who were excellent - Sammie Winmill as Carol was almost as bad but to a 13 year old boy as I was at the time at least she was cute
