Challenge of the Superfriends was actually and anthology of two shows: Super friends and Challenge of the Super Friends, each with 16 episodes. Super Friends featured the gang, plus the Wonder Twins, in various half hour adventures. Challenge has the Justice League (sans junior members) battling the Legion of Doom. Like the filmation New Adventures of Superman and Adventures of Batman, they were two cartoon shows broadcast in an hour block (Superman/Batman Hour).
