A show for modern times

Now firstly I am not advocating either a remake or a return with Michael Crawford in the role, he is too old and couldn't (I doubt) do things he did then in the show), neither would you really have a way of making a new show because of the compairsons - not to mention insurance and costs I doubt the BBC would even consider these days.

However how would Frank cope in 21st century Britain, what would he be like today (set as the same age he and Betty were then).

What ways would mobile phones, internet, email's digitial technology, faster cars, all sorts of different foods - what sorts of things would Franks be involved in today?
It's difficult becauase the show is mostly tiimeless - apart from obvious technological things - for instance going to the Writer across the road as they'd have a phone and mobiles today. Likewise Bettty would not be in hospital for a fortnight after a minor (what was it anyway) operation.

I'm sure there are other things different fom the time the show was made, but anyway suggestions please.

agreed!

yeah i wonder what betty was in for? bit of trouble maybe hehe.

i could just see frank showing up at those 'talent' auditions, dance auditions and idol auditions. imagine !!

both my daughters love the comedy, so i guess it still resonates with todays youth, the innocence of it perhaps.
