Was there a follow-up series about Chrissie?

At the end of Man About the House, Chrissie married Robin's brother; did I dream it or was there a follow-up series in which Chrissie was living alone again having been widowed? I seem to remember that it was about her starting to date again, getting a job, etc.... or did I dream it? I have to say, it doesn't sound a bundle of laughs, does it?! I thought it ran for one series but I can't see anything similar listed on imdb - anyone else remember this?

The only thing I can find is a 1977 program called "miss jones and son". This stared "paula wilcox" as a single mother who's husband had left her. It ran for 2 series. But this was in no way connected to "man about the house".

We must have had the same dream !! I too remember Chrissie marrying Robin's brother but then being divorced not widowed. I am fairly sure there was a follow-up series - but I can;t find anything on imbd - this is going to bug me for ages now - I will let you know if I think of or find anything.

There was a follow-up series but not of Chrissie. It was Robin Tripp. Called 'Robin's Nest' it followed the life of Robin and his girlfriend, later his wife, who were running a restaurant. Not bad, but not as good as Man About the House or the other wonderful spin off, 'George and Mildred.'

The one strange thing I found about all three programs was that Robin's brother, played by Norman Eshley, also played Chrissie's married boyfriend about halfway through 'Man About the House.' In 'George and Mildred' Norman Eshley played their next door neighbour.

I think thats why they avoided having norman and chrissie turn up in "robins nest".
