Sally Thomsett, who played Jo, was my fave girl in MATH and I was just wondering if anybody has any other recorded TV shows in which she starred? I mean after MATH, she made a few other TV guest appearances (e.g. Celebrity Squares, comedy documentaries etc.)

I don't know if shows like The Unforgettable Yootha Joyce have ever been released on DVD, or I Love A Seventies Christmas - both of which Sally starred in - but if they have, boy would I LOVE to have them in my DVD collection!

Oh, and finally - why oh why oh WHY has Sally been absent from our TV screens for so long?

Hi again Webmaster,

I know Sally was interviewed for a couple of those 'I love the 70's' type shows that appeared on BBC2 not so long ago. She was on the 1973 show and there was a 4 or 5 minute piece about MATH, they also showed a really cheesy advert Richard did for razors or something. Then she was on a similar show that was shown fairly recently on BBC2, but I didn't get chance to record them sadly. Might be worth checking listings for BBC3/4 to see if they get repeated. The Yootha tribute show was repeated this summer also, don't think it's available on DVD though.

I wonder why she and Paula have been more or less absent from our screens, Paula especially as she is a great actress. Only Brian Murphy seems to be doing anything of note these days.

I know. Sally was great in that too.

I really miss her now from our TV screens. Can't understand why she hasn't popped up in any more TV programs, like Paula Wilcox and Brian Murphy have. As well as being a very talented actress (LOVED her as Jo in Man About The House!), she is an extremely attractive lady too. In fact, she was one of the first TV girls I had a crush on during my teen years.

Paula wilcox appeared in the sitcom (i think it's called) The Smoking Room
Brian Murphy appeared in quite a few eps of Brookside in the '90s
(I think) Sally Thomsett was in an ep of Doctors a few years back.
Last I heard, Richard O'Sullivan was in a care home.
