I think they were both sweet in their own way, but chrissy was the more mature of the two!!!!!!!!

I can remember when the series were broadcast first time, I had a crush on Chrissy. Now, approx. 35 years older, watching the recently bought DVD's, I still find her the more attractive of the two.
But as you say, they were both sweet in their own way.

I wonder how they look these days. Must be like granny's, because even when the series were recorded, they were older than the caracters were supposed to be.

Give me Jo every goddamn time!
I loved the way she was so dumb that some of the things she said ended up clever. Unfortunately I haven't seen the show for about 35 years so I can't quote any right now. . .

Chrissy. No debate. Something about her eyes. Mmmmmmmmmm.........

Definitely Chrissy, i've been watching them over the past few days and Paula Wilcox is gorgeous i even liked her personality, Jo seemed to be away with the fairies but of course she's nice too

There are two kinds of people in the world my friend those with loaded guns and those who dig

Chrissy! Gorgeous, smart, stylish.

Both women were gorgeous though. Entire cast was sensational.

reply

I always dreamed of making Love to them both ,together at the same time.

reply

Both were nice but i liked Jo best.
Richard O'Sullivan, apparently did as well because although it was Chrissy he was chasing on the show it was Sally Thomsett he was going out with.

Richard wore his jeans so tight on the show it took him hours to get them on.
Nothing to do with the question i just thought i'd throw in that bit of trivia.

Originally I liked Jo, but 35 years later (has it really been that long), I prefer Chrissy. I love her clever come-backs and subtle flirts.

Jo still looks amazing though. Definite candy for the eyes.

No contest - Jo wins, for me, hands down!

Jo, whilst pretty, looks too much like a wee girl for me. She's like an overgrown kid!

reply

No, I don't agree. Jo was the perfect girl for me, but then again I have a soft spot for blondes!

Definitely Chrissy. I had a major crush on Paula Wilcox (I was 13); she was in the Woody Allen film 'Scoop' briefly, she doesn't seem to have aged at all.

I think Jo had the typical dim witted blond thing going, that media has told guys they should like. This was exploited more on the American version with the Suzanne Summers character (ironically named Chrissy). Jo of course was much more than that, but because of the hype for blonds, Jo had an advantage over her roommate Chrissy. As for myself though, I would go for Chrissy any day of the week. Like you said she was more mature, I liked her wit and humor, and to me she would be more fun. Both were/are adorable.
