Saperstein the father?

I just noticed on the Judith Light episode last night that there's a reference to Saperstein being out because his "kid" had a skateboarding accident. I must have forgotten that. It seems like McNeil is the only one with any spouse or family you ever hear about on there.

In the second season episode Nursemaid, Crocker at one point says, "My old lady'll be thrilled." Huh? Does this mean Crocker has a wife or girl friend?

Mister Mike-

That's really weird, as Crocker's always chasing girls on there and has sort of dated. I wonder if the writers changed their minds about some of that stuff at some point.

In the Nursemaid episode mentioned above, there is something else peculiar. At one point, it seems like Crocker is trying to set up Saperstein with a date: "I guarantee you she's nice, man, I took her out once myself ... She's sweet, believe me, she's sweet, I wouldn't let you down for the world, all you've done for me. Come on, who'm I talking to, nobody? Yeah, she's nice." This seems kind of fishy if Saperstein has a kid who has a skateboarding accident in S04E21!
